WEATHER ISSUES
ANY WEATHER UPDATE WILL BE POSTED HERE IF IT STARTS TO BECOMES AN ISSUE.

ADMISSION:
The Field House WILL NOT OPEN until 10:30am on Saturday. Please plan your travel/arrival accordingly.

All teams and individual athletes from a school must check-in at the lobby of the field house upon arrival. Entry Fees will be collected at check-in. Your entry fee will be based on the entry fee calculated online at the time you declared your athletes on Wednesday at Noon. We will not make any adjustments to this calculation. Please have the correct amount.

SPECTATOR ADMISSION CHARGES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Adults (bleacher seating)  $ 4.00
Students (bleacher seating)     $ 2.00
Field Pass (wider access) $`10.00
Meet Program   $ 1

T-shirts will be available - limited supply ( $10 ) - we have 200 shirts and 900 athletes

FIELD ACCESS:
The only people allowed Field Access (on the football field) are athletes and coaches. We are asking coaches to help us with this arrangement also. Please do not ask to secure passes for parents, bus drivers, etc.

FOOD & DRINK POLICY
Please be aware of the food & drink policy detailed in the original meet information

NO FOOD OR DRINK WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE FIELDHOUSE

Athletes may have individual water bottles and pre-competition snacks (energy bars or similar). Absolutely no coolers, or other containers of food or drinks will be allowed.

WE WILL HAVE VERY REASONABLY PRICED CONCESSIONS

RESTROOMS:
With a meet this large, we are being stretched to our "people and time capacity" for the fieldhouse. We are concerned about having room for spectators in the bleachers and athletes on the field. Restroom facilities are a concern as well. We are asking coaches to inform their athletes that they will be required to use the port-a-johns in the rear of the fieldhouse. The restrooms in the lobby of the field house are reserved for coaches & spectators. (Coaches, you will want to help us in this matter, I promise). We suggest that you plan to bring a roll or two of toilet paper....just in case supplies run out for some reason.

UNIFORM ISSUES:
The Kentucky Milers Club WILL NOT be concerned with "uniform" matters. I know this may please some & displease others, but we just want to provide an uncomplicated opportunity for kids to run.

MEET EFFICIENCY EFFORTS:
PLEASE DO NOT ASK to add athletes during the competition.

VERY IMPORTANT -- Have your athletes at the starting line and ready to go when it's time for their race. We will not delay any races waiting for late arrivals or for kids to take off their sweats.

No starting blocks will be used in the 400m & 4x400m Relay races. In the 200m dash, they will have about 30 seconds to get blocks set up if they plan to use them. So they need to have practiced blockwork prior to the meet. If we notice them struggling, we will quickly tell them to not use blocks.

Athletes in lane races (60m Dash, 60m Hurdles, 200m) should check-in at the clerk of course table, but they will not be issued hip numbers. We can identify sprint finishers by "seeing their lane" in the finish photo.

Athletes in ALL OTHER RACES (400m, 800m, mile, 2 mile, and relay anchor legs) where participants do not remain in lanes, each athlete needs to check in with the clerk of course table and will need to obtain a hip number to attach to their left hip and their left chest....do this about 15 minutes prior to the start of the 1st section of the event.

ATHLETE'S RESTROOMS (port-a-johns) are located in the rear of the field house. Athletes will not be allowed in the lobby restrooms. Restrooms for spectators and coaches are located in the field house lobby.

The area outside of the white sport fencing is for athlete's running warm-ups (running only!) Seated flexibility/stretching/mobility excercises should be done INSIDE the fencing.

Be sure to review the exchange zone locations with your athletes competing in Relays.

Please help us to avoid any troubles with the facility powers-that-be. Ask your athletes to follow the fieldhouse policies for food & drink and also be respectful of people and property while in the building. This will enable us to continue hosting the event in the future.
